TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing nursery setting based in Chelmsford. This is a permanent position with immediate start available, though we are happy to be flexible for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children s learning and development through play and structured activities

• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Creating a safe, stimulating, and positive environment

• Building strong, professional relationships with children, colleagues, and parents

• Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met

• Monitoring and recording children s progress and development

Requirements:

• A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 3 desirable)

• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting

• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• A genuine passion for working with young children

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
