We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join the team at our Brighton-based nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a curriculum that is engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate for children in the nursery.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff members in the nursery.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed about their child’s progress and development.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, ensuring that these records are up-to-date and accessible to parents and carers.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
• All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Your new role

Your role will be working as a Nursery Practitioner. The nursery is seeking qualified staff who wish to develop their expertise, career, and grow within the nursery. You will assist with the day-to-day running of the classes, support students, and use your initiative to help them succeed. The nursery is recruiting for full-time roles but will consider part-time applications as well. The full-time hours are 40 hours a week, working between 7 am and 7 pm. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year. Benefits include casual dress, pension, and company events.

Flexible working options are available. The nursery is dedicated to staff development through training. The role is permanent with an immediate start. They are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, including part-time and full-time hours.
