Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with a Good Ofsted-rated nursery in Great Barr, Birmingham, to recruit qualified Nursery Practitioners. We are seeking individuals with Level 2 or higher childcare qualifications who are passionate about early years education and care.

The role offers day rates of £14.25–£16.68 per hour, with hours ranging from 20 to 37 per week, and both full-time and part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above qualifications in childcare or early years.
• DBS check (updated) or willingness to obtain a new one.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to undergo 2-day training course.
• Two references, one from most recent employer.

Overview

Aspire People is working with an excellent childcare provider looking for Nursery Practitioners holding Level 2 and 3 qualifications for their Good rated by Ofsted Nursery based in Great Barr. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be dedicated, passionate, enthusiastic, and driven to provide young children with the best early years education and care.

• Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children
• Communicate with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet the individual needs of the children

Requirements

• Level 2 or above qualifications in childcare or early years
• DBS on the updated service or willing to have a new one processed
• Paediatric First Aid or willing to undergo 2-day training course
• Comfortable with nappies if required
• Able to provide two references, one from most recent employer
