Randstad UK is seeking a Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator in Bexleyheath. You will join a warm, energetic team, supporting children aged 0-5 with attentive care and development-focused activities.

The role is full-time and permanent, with hours 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Qualified or enthusiastic individuals are welcome to apply and develop professionally within a nurturing environment.

Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator (Qualified & Unqualified) - Bexleyheath

About the Role

We provide a nurturing and creative environment where children aged 0-5 can play, learn, and flourish. You will work in a supportive, close-knit team, ensuring that every child receives the best possible start in their early years. This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality day-to-day care, overseeing routines including snack/mealtimes, personal care, and rest periods.
• Plan and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities that align with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) goals.
• Build strong, reassuring relationships with children and maintain transparent communication with parents and carers.
• Support key person responsibilities, including observing progress, tracking milestones, and updating learning journals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment across all nursery rooms.
• Uphold all nursery policies, health and safety protocols, and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

For Qualified Applicants: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Childhood Studies (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).

For Unqualified Applicants: Must have genuine hands-on experience (e.g., babysitting, nannying, youth work) and a strong passion for childhood development.

• Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork, and a reliable, patient demeanour.
• Ability to commute easily to our Bexleyheath location.
