Walsall College is seeking a Nursery Officer to join its award-winning nursery at Little Professors Nursery. This role involves fostering the development of children and requires a level 3 Childcare qualification. The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment that prioritizes welfare, equality, and training.
Walsall College are currently looking to recruit a Nursery Officer to join our recently rated Ofsted Outstanding and NDNA Nursery of the year at Little Professors Nursery located in our Wisemore Campus. Please note there are multiple positions including All year round and Term Time Only plus 3 week available.
You will be expected to take a shared responsibility for the welfare, learning and development of a key group of children within our nursery setting.
Being responsible for planning and preparing appropriate experiences for the children, you will be expected to meet the learning and development requirements of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
Ideally having at least 1 years’ experience within a childcare setting and familiarity with the EYFS framework, you will be an enthusiastic team member with a warm and positive approach to children, parents and other staff.
You must also have a recognised level 3 qualification in Childcare, and First Aid and Food Hygiene Qualifications (or willingness to complete within 3 months).
