Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is hiring a Nursery Practitioner for a private day nursery in Ilford, East London. The role focuses on supporting children's daily routines, delivering engaging activities and contributing to their development under the EYFS framework.

You will work with a team of experienced practitioners, with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate, and enjoy a supportive onboarding process and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate.
• Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Ilford, East London, who are looking to recruit a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nursery that values children's individual needs, encourages learning through play and promotes a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

The nursery is seeking a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who can support children with their daily routines, deliver engaging activities and contribute to their learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners and build on their early years experience, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right person.

The successful Nursery Practitioner must have:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.

A valid Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate.

A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.

The flexibility to support children across different nursery rooms when required.

In return, you can expect to receive:

£14 per hour for Level 2 qualified practitioners.

£15 per hour for Level 3 qualified practitioners.
