Temporary Nursery Nurse
We are currently recruiting qualified Nursery Nurses and Nursery Assistants (Level 2 or 3) for nurseries in the South West London area.

You will be working with a caring and passionate team of consultants on a temporary basis.
Qualifications & skills required:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education
- At least one year's experience working as a Nursery Nurse within an Early Years setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
- Strong understanding of child development
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for working with children under 5
- Understanding of all nursery duties
- Ability to use own initiative
Your role would include:
- Maintaining and organizing a clean, child-friendly environment
- Supervising activities, such as messy play, crafts, cooking, reading, and outdoor/physical pursuits
- Safeguarding children at all times
- Catering for children with additional needs appropriately
- Encouraging independent learning daily
- Feeding suitable meals, snacks, and drinks
- Changing nappies or assisting with potty/toilet training
- Teaching general life skills, such as hygiene and manners
- Collaborating with health and social care professionals when necessary and handling relevant admin/paperwork
- Communicating regularly with parents about their child's progress
Additional responsibilities:
- Implementing planned activities following curriculum guidelines
- Helping children gain independence in the classroom and playground
- Maintaining materials and equipment
- Supporting team duties and general care
- Child observations and record keeping
