Job Duties:
  1. Supporting the lead teacher in implementing educational programmes and activities for children.
  2. Assisting with the personal care and hygiene of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  3. Monitoring and supervising children during playtime and outdoor activities.
  4. Collaborating with parents and staff to provide a nurturing environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
  • Valid DBS check.
  • First Aid certification.
Education:

GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of child development and learning theories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Safeguarding training.

Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours, typically 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Physical activity involved, including standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations.
