Job Description:

We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Agency Nursery Nurses to join our pool of temporary staff. As an Agency Nursery Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of childcare settings, including nurseries, preschools, and daycare centres. This role offers flexibility, competitive pay rates, and the chance to gain valuable experience in different environments.

Please note that we are looking for nursery assistants who have experience working with children and a passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
2. Engage children in a range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
3. Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, adapting quickly to different settings and routines.
4. Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding, changing, and comforting as required.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain continuity of care and ensure a smooth transition for children during temporary placements.
6. Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education).
2. Proven experience working as a nursery nurse in a childcare setting, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively in a team.
4. Flexibility and availability to work on short notice and travel to various childcare settings within the designated area.
5. Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo one.
