Job summary

A brand new nursery in Farnborough seeks a passionate Nursery Nurse to provide high-quality childcare for children aged 0-5. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and supporting children's development in a fun and engaging environment. Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and demonstrate a commitment to children's well-being and education. The position offers generous benefits including bonuses and discounts.

Nursery Nurse

This is an exciting and fulfilling role that incorporates lots of variety. As a Nursery Nurse, you will spend your days looking after children from 3 months old, right up to pre-school age. You’ll ensure that the children have fun whilst being sensitive and attentive to their individual needs.

Salary up to £29,057.60 per annum

We are currently seeking people who are passionate about childcare to join our team of staff as a Room Leader, however the Room Leader role will be inline with the business needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the room. Our staff are essential to the smooth running of our nurseries and are valued members of the team; you will build relationships with children and parents and be involved fully in nursery life.

Salary up to £31,553.60 per annum

For both roles, you will need to obtain a Level 3 in Childcare.

Please be advised if you do not possess a full and relevant qualification or experience within the childcare sector your application will not be considered.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Working together with the rest of the team to provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
  • Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities.
  • Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents.
  • Making sure every working day is fun!

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
  • To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
