Job summary

Keep Education in St Albans is seeking Level 2/3 Nursery Nurses to support early years development and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will plan and deliver activities aligned with EYFS, observe progress, and work with colleagues to promote holistic growth.

Experience in nurseries or early years, strong communication, patience, and teamwork are essential. DBS enhanced or willingness to obtain, safeguarding knowledge, and a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest.
• Observe and monitor children's development and report progress.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Promote positive behaviour and support social and emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management.
