Nursery Nurse - Harrow September 2025 Start

Are you passionate about supporting young children during their most important developmental years?

Academics Ltd is currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming early years setting within a primary school in Harrow from September 2025.

  • Position: Nursery Nurse
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Location: Harrow, North West London
  • Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education desirable)

Nursery Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote all areas of early development
  • Observe and monitor children's progress, recording and reporting outcomes clearly
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
  • Contribute to maintaining a high-quality and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A recognised childcare qualification (minimum Level 3 required)
  • Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development
  • Strong communication and team working skills
  • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
  • A valid, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
