Job description

NURSERY NURSE - SCHOOL BASED

£88.94 per day

Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm

Location: Exeter

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated teaching assistant to work across EYFS - KS2. We have schools based in Exeter requiring a Nursery Nurse / Primary experienced teaching assistant, ideally with a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.

The schools are part of a wider trust with sites across Exeter and surrounding villages.

Responsibilities:
  1. Guide children as a Nursery Nurse / Teaching Assistant, providing personalized support.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop support plans.
  3. Foster a nurturing environment that enhances social interactions and communication skills.
  4. Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years.
  2. Experience working with all age groups in nurseries or schools.
  3. Effective communication skills for clear interactions.
  4. Applicants with a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle will be prioritized.
  5. Patience, empathy, flexibility, and adaptability.
  6. Dedication to student success.
