Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursery Nurse to join the Ladybird Nursery on a permanent basis. The post is full-time (37.5 hours) with potential for part-time hours for the right candidate.

A recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare and relevant safety certificates are required. The nursery is located on hospital grounds, serving staff and the public, caring for children under five.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare is required.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• Safeguarding Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Team Leaders to create an encouraging environment for every child.
• Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team.
• Help maintain a safe, warm, caring, and stimulating setting that supports development.
• Interact with children to promote independence and progress.
