About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.

We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.

Meet Our Client

Our client is a joyful and affectionate boy who brightens the lives of those around him. His love for water is unmistakable, whether he's happily splashing during bath time or delighting in a swim. Singing and engaging with sensory toys, especially those with buttons, bring him endless entertainment and stimulation. He enjoys school and looks forward to his daily taxi rides and car journeys. He also loves exploring the outdoors on walks with his care team. Your role will be to support him after school, engaging in therapeutic play, guiding his evening routine for restful sleep, and managing his clinical care needs with care and expertise.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. "This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience as a Nursery Nurse or Childcare Practitioner, with a strong passion for supporting children and young people.

We're looking for individuals who are:
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Confident in working with children and young people in a hands-on care environment
  • Committed to learning new clinical skills and advancing their career in complex care

While clinical experience is not essential, you must be willing to undertake comprehensive training in areas such as:
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilation management
  • Gastrostomy care (PEG feeding)
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling

This is an ideal opportunity to take your childcare experience to the next level and make a lasting difference in the lives of children with complex needs.

  • Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
  • Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider

Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
