Nursery Nurse Cache Level 3 Barnsley , Barnsley Full Time Start: 2025

Academics are proud to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing Primary School in Barnsley with a recruitment gap in their Early Years team. We're looking for a passionate and committed Nursery Nurse or Early Years Teaching Assistant (CACHE Level 3 or equivalent) who thrives in a stable, long-term setting rather than daily supply.

The Role: This is a full-time, on-site role within a friendly Early Years team where you'll:

• Be a positive role model and lead with best practice

• Support a small, collaborative room team

• Assist with snacks, playtime, and personal care

• Ensure children's wellbeing, safety, and safeguarding at all times

• Deliver meaningful, age-appropriate learning and care

Essential Requirements

• CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)

• Recent and relevant experience in a Nursery, Primary, or similar setting

• Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid (desirable)

• Willingness to obtain or already hold an Enhanced DBS

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
