Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work in Huddersfield? Do you thrive in a nurturing environment where you can support young children's early development? If so, we want to hear from you!


We are seeking enthusiastic nursery practitioners to work in nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield on a day-to-day or long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.


The Role:
  1. Provide high-quality care, learning, and play opportunities for children aged 0-5 years.
  2. Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  3. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity and learning.
  4. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times.
  5. Encourage language, social, and motor skill development through creative play and activities.
  6. Work collaboratively with permanent staff and parents to support each child's individual needs.
  7. Maintain a high standard of safeguarding and follow nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  1. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
  2. Knowledge of EYFS Framework and child development.
  3. Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  4. A caring and patient approach to working with young children.
  5. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
