What Will You Be Doing?
As a Nursery Nurse in this primary school’s attached nursery, you’ll be part of a team that offers exciting learning experiences for children aged 3-5. You’ll have the chance to inspire curiosity, develop social skills, and create an atmosphere where children feel confident and ready to explore. Your creativity and enthusiasm will make a difference in every child’s development!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Early Learning: Help plan and implement stimulating activities that encourage children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.

• Nurture and Care: Provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment where children feel valued and understood.

• Engage in Creative Play: Lead activities such as arts, crafts, and outdoor play, fostering creativity and sparking curiosity in the little ones.

• Observe and Record Progress: Keep track of each child’s milestones, documenting their development and providing feedback to the team.

• Collaborate with School Staff: Work alongside teachers and support staff to ensure a seamless transition between nursery and school life, maintaining continuity of care.

Who Are We Looking For?

• A Passion for Early Years: You’re excited to work with children and are dedicated to helping them achieve their full potential from an early age.

• Qualified and Ready: A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent is essential. Experience in a nursery or school setting is a plus, but enthusiasm is key!

• Great Communication Skills: You’re approachable, professional, and able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

• A Team Player: You enjoy working with others, sharing ideas, and supporting the team to create the best learning environment for the children.
