Job description

My Client, a private Children's Nursery in Windsor, is currently looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse for their 2-3 years room. This nursery has a capacity for around 70 children, and this role is for 45 hours a week.

The ideal candidate will need to have a Level 3 early years qualification and previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Assistant would be an advantage. Whether you are a newly qualified Nursery Nurse or have years of experience, working in this setting would certainly be a great career opportunity for you.

Nursery Nurse duties and responsibilities include:

• Feeding suitable meals, snacks, and drinks
• Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training
• Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• Working with health and social care professionals where necessary, and undertaking relevant admin/paperwork

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient
• The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
• Acting as Key-worker and observing children
• A working knowledge of the Children’s Act
• Good communication skills with children and parents
• Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative
