A leading education agency is seeking a Nursery Nurse in Walsall to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and maintain a safe learning environment. The ideal candidate will have Level 2 qualifications in childcare and be experienced in working with children with special needs. Overview

Pay - 13.82- 16.00 per hour.
Location - Walsall
Hours - Full-time/Part-time/term time only
Position - Nursery Nurse
Position Type - Long term and Daily cover
Settings: Cr che, Day nursery and Nursery schools

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with parents/carers and other family members.
  • Prepare and maintain a positive, safe learning environment in partnership with the team.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Level 2 or above qualifications in childcare or early years.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
  • Paediatric First Aid or willingness to undertake a 2-day training course.
  • Comfortable with nappies if required.
  • Provide 2 references, one from the most recent employer.
