Job description

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join a friendly early years team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. Beginning Spetember 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Nurse:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children.

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress and development.

  • Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and carers.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming setting.

  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all children.

Ideal Nursery Nurse:

  • A recognised Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g. NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.

  • A warm, patient and caring approach to working with young children.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Nurse.

  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of care.
