One of our Local Authority Clients are seeking a Nursery Nurse to support their Nursery in Haringey.

What's on offer:

Location: Based at a local Nursery in Haringey

Rate of pay: £16.35p/h

Working Hours: Full time, 36 hrs per week, shifts ranging from 8-4 , 10-6 and anything between these hours

Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension

Key responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for developing close professional relationships with an identified group of children and their parents to support children’s emotional well being and learning.
• Support children to develop personal care skills including toileting, feeding, and washing.
• Take small groups of children out of school to develop their interests in their local environment and to support EYOs on organised trips.
• Make observations and assessments of children’s play, progress and behaviour, creating and maintaining Special Books and contributing to the HEYP using Information Technology as appropriate in line with centre’s processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Level 3 in childcare or equivalent (essential)
• Nursery childcare experience (essential)
