Here at Zero2Five, we are proud to be working for a brilliant independent day nursery that is looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for their quality setting near Cricklewood, London. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively in standard English, both written and spoken, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A genuine passion for childcare is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake activities with key children and small groups to support their physical, emotional, and educational development within a safe environment.
  • Establish supportive relationships with children and parents to facilitate effective communication and partnership between the nursery and home where appropriate.
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children.

Plan activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, promoting independent learning to enhance children’s understanding.

  • Keep detailed observations to identify children with additional needs for review and statutory assessment.
  • Promote and reinforce children’s self-esteem, encouraging them to maximize their achievement and development.
  • Support inclusion and acceptance of children with special educational needs to foster their achievement and development.
  • Assist teachers by monitoring, assessing, and recording children’s development.
