A school in Lambeth is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Nurse to join a fantastic and inclusive school in Lambeth working with early years (EYFS) with severe learning difficulties and ASD. You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning and develop independence through play-based learning. The Nursery Nurse Responsibilities
* Work with class teachers to raise the learning of pupils.
* Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
* Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
* Support with planning, preparation, and resourcing for lessons that promote play-based learning both indoors and outdoors.
* Promote, support, and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
* Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures.
* Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
* Support with personal care when needed with other staff members.

The Nursery Nurse Applicant
