The successful Nursery Nurse applicant will be given an exciting opportunity to work as a part of a large special needs school in Lambeth that caters for students from ages 4-19, where your energy and experience will be valued as you play an important part in working each day towards the school's aim to meet the varied needs of its students.

  • Promote pupil's independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
  • Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
  • Support with planning, preparation, and resourcing for lessons that promote play-based learning both indoors and outdoors.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures.
  • Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Support with personal care when needed with other staff members.
