Are you passionate about working with young children and supporting their early learning journey? We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our warm and welcoming primary school in Gosport.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the nursery team in delivering high-quality early years education. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and develop key skills.

Support the nursery teacher in daily activities and lesson preparation

Assist children with personal care and social development

Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment

Engage with children to encourage learning through play

Support observation and record-keeping of children’s progress

About You:

Experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting

A caring, patient, and positive attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills

A relevant early years qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential
