Job description

Nursery Nurse

£88.94 per day

8.30am to 3.30pm

LOCATION: BODMIN

We are seeking to appoint at least 1 Nursery Nurse to support nurseries around Bodmin, Redruth, Camborne. We require Nursery Nurse / Primary experienced teaching assistants to support with short-term sickness/holiday cover. Ideally, candidates should have a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates with a UK driving license and own car will be prioritized for full-time roles.

Responsibilities:

1. Guide children as a Nursery Nurse / Teaching Assistant, offering personalized guidance and support.
2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop support plans.
3. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social interactions and communication skills.
4. Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

1. Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years.
2. Experience working with all age groups in nurseries or schools.
3. Effective communication skills for clear interactions.
4. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred).
5. Patience, empathy, flexibility, and adaptability.
