Job Title: Nursery Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire (WS11 1RD)
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am 5:30pm
Pay: £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of learning and development? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Nursery Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and nurturing team at a well-established nursery setting in Cannock (WS11 1RD).

About the Role:

Starting in September 2025, this full-time role (8:30am 5:30pm) involves supporting children aged 2 4 years, including those with additional needs. You ll work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to create an inclusive and engaging environment where every child is supported to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to promote children s development

• Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities

• Foster children s emotional, social, and behavioural development

• Collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and outside professionals

• Support with observations and contribute to individual learning plans

Requirements:

• A Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable

• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

• A patient, nurturing, and flexible attitude

• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
