Nursery Nurse

Our client is looking to employ a Term-Time Qualified Nursery Nurse for their unique home-from-home Nursery based near Bolton, Lancashire. The Nursery Nurse must be passionate, enthusiastic, and driven to provide young children with the best early years education and care needed for their development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
2. Observe, support, and extend children’s learning.
3. Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework.
4. Maintain accurate and effective children’s records.
5. Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
6. Demonstrate good practice regarding special needs and inclusion.
7. Ensure all legislation related to special needs, safeguarding, and health and safety is complied with.

Requirements

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified and have been a keyworker previously.
• Have a passion for working with children.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding.
• Experience working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to manage and maintain administrative requirements.
