Nursery Nurse - Lighthouse SEND Provision - Blackheath, SE London

An Ofsted-rated Outstanding Primary School in Blackheath (Greenwich) is seeking an experienced Nursery Nurse to join their specialist Lighthouse SEND Provision, supporting Early Years children with Autism, communication needs and sensory processing delays.

The school is seeking a nurturing, skilled Nursery Nurse who understands Early Years practice and can confidently support a structured SEND environment. This Nursery Nurse role is Monday to Friday, full-time, and requires someone who can start immediately.

You will be working with a small group of EYFS children who follow sensory-based, communication-rich and play-led learning routines. The Nursery Nurse will work closely with the SENCO, Speech & Language therapists and class teacher.

Nursery Nurse Role Includes:

• Supporting Early Years pupils with Autism and complex SEND
• Using visual timetables, sensory tools and communication systems
• Running small group and 1:1 learning sessions
• Creating a nurturing, calm learning environment
• Working collaboratively with a highly skilled SEND team

Requirements - Nursery Nurse:

• EYFS Nursery Nurse & SEND experience
• Confident, patient and proactive
• Able to work Monday-Friday
• Immediate availability
