Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Experience as a Nursery Manager
• Experience with regulatory inspections
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement
• Confident decision-making skills and ability to support change
• Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
• Ability to build trust with colleagues, parents, and external partners

Key Duties:

• Lead nursery teams to deliver outstanding care
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
• Collaborate with HR for recruitment and diversity initiatives
• Mentor and role model high-quality practice
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Develop succession plans and nurture talent
• Work with regional teams to implement growth strategies
• Manage nursery performance, revenue, and costs to meet financial targets
• Engage with local authorities to support nursery practice
