Job Description:

We are working with a beautiful setting based in Coventry that is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager. The position is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or 8 am to 4 pm.

The nursery caters for children from 6 weeks to 4 years across four separate rooms.

The setting is a community nursery that actively collaborates with local schools, charities, and churches to provide diverse experiences for children.

The Role

To manage and develop the efficient and effective operation of our nursery, leading a team of staff, students, and volunteers to provide high-quality childcare tailored to the needs of individual children and their families. To develop a flexible approach to service provision in collaboration with the management committee, General Manager, parents, carers, and other stakeholders.

About you:

• Experience managing busy nursery settings
• Experience working with children in a childcare environment
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children and parents
• Ability to lead and manage a team of childcare providers
• Nursery experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Childcare experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Management experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Education: Level 3 or above
• On-site parking available
