Just Imgaine Day Nursery - Maldon, part of Family First Group, seeks an experienced Nursery Manager to lead daily operations, sustain high standards of care and education, and strengthen family partnerships. The role emphasizes safeguarding, EYFS compliance, and building a motivated team in a supportive environment.

You will shape a positive culture, drive quality outcomes, and manage staffing with a focus on development and occupancy growth.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience leading and developing teams within an Early Years setting.
• Level 5 qualification in Childcare, Leadership or Management.
• Experience achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of the nursery, upholding high standards of care, education and safeguarding.
• Inspire and develop the nursery team and build strong relationships with families.
• Drive occupancy and overall performance of the setting.
• Oversee Ofsted preparation and inspections to ensure sustained quality.
• Support staff wellbeing and professional development.
• Ensure high-quality, engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
