Job summary

SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Manager in Smethwick to lead a busy Early Years setting for children aged 9 months to pre-school. The role is permanent and full-time, offering ownership, team leadership, and a clear opportunity to shape learning, confidence and development.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure staffing levels meet requirements, drive high-quality EYFS delivery, and build strong partnerships with parents and carers.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum requirement).
• Significant experience within an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Early Years team.
• Oversee daily nursery operations and staffing levels.
• Deliver high-quality EYFS curriculum.
• Develop practices and provision.
• Support individual learning journeys via planning, observation, assessment.
