Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience leading an Early Years team
• Deep knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
• Evidence of strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to inspire, motivate and develop others
• Child-centred approach and commitment to high-quality care and learning

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Early Years team
• Oversee day-to-day nursery operations including staffing and occupancy
• Ensure EYFS safeguarding and regulatory compliance
• Drive outstanding teaching and play-based learning
• Monitor children's progress and support positive outcomes
• Build partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies
• Manage resources and budgets effectively
• Support school improvement initiatives and inspection readiness
• Create an environment where children, families and staff feel valued
