About Early Years Ltd. is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a busy nursery in Stockport on a fixed-term basis from November 2026 to June 2027, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to work the full nursery operating hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the nursery.
• Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and education are maintained.
• Manage, motivate, and support nursery staff to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Oversee compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and external professionals.
• Monitor occupancy levels and contribute to the nursery's continued growth and success.
• Manage staff rotas, performance, and training requirements.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children.
