Job summary

Acorn Early Years is seeking a passionate Nursery Manager for Brafield-on-the-Green to lead a nurturing setting for children, families, and staff. You will be responsible for the safe, high-quality day-to-day running in line with EYFS principles.

You will champion inclusive practices, build strong partnerships with families, health services, and community providers, and support staff development through coaching and supervision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and child-centred practice.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery with care and compliance.
• Inspire and manage the teams to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice.
• Build trusting relationships with families and health community partners.
• Ensure safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion are embedded in all activities.
• Oversee occupancy, staffing, records, and parent communication.
