Based in Chelmsford, Essex, Staff Match has an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join a lovely nursery. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years management experience and a genuine passion for early years education.

Person Specification:

• Experience in leading and motivating teams
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
• Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

Responsibilities of Nursery Manager include:

• Leading day-to-day nursery operations
• Ensuring staff compliance with policies and procedures
• Building positive relationships with parents, including arranging events and drop-in sessions
• Marketing and managing occupancy levels
• Handling invoicing, fee calculation, back-office tasks, material ordering, HR, and finance
• Embedding the EYFS curriculum effectively into practice
• Preparing for Ofsted inspections
• Managing recruitment, supervisions, and appraisals
