Nursery Manager - Growing/Fresh Produce

My client is a leading food manufacturer seeking a Manager to oversee the company's 7 Growing sites. The ideal candidate should be bright, eager to develop, and able to work as part of the site-based Growing Team.

This position is located within commuting distance of London and offers a great opportunity for those looking to expand their horizons in the food industry. The role is site-based and reports to the Head of Growing.

The Role:

1. People Management – Overseeing 7 Supervisors and ensuring optimal performance
2. Managing Environmental Control through the Priva System
3. Maintaining close relationships with Commercial and Technical Teams
4. Participating in External and Internal Audits (BRC, Red Tractor)

The Candidate:

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a growing environment
2. Proactive, resilient, and hands-on attitude
3. Experience supplying UK Supermarkets
4. Audit experience with emphasis on Red Tractor and Leaf standards
