This nursery, a well-established committee-run pre-school in Beckenham, has been operating for over 30 years, providing a secure and stimulating environment for children aged 2-5. The nursery values each child as a unique individual and offers access to the EYFS through engaging activities, supported by a dedicated team of practitioners.

The nursery promotes socialization and empowerment, fostering mutual respect and preparing children for their next learning stages. We are seeking a part-time nursery manager, working four days a week: Mondays and Thursdays from 8.30 am to 4.15 pm, and Tuesdays and Fridays from 8.30 am to 12.45 pm.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification
  • Experience in an early years leadership role (e.g., Nursery Manager, Deputy, Assistant Manager)
  • Experience with regulatory inspections
  • Proven ability to develop high-performance teams and ensure compliance and quality
  • Decision-making skills and understanding of business and service excellence in a regulated setting
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues, parents, and partners
