Nursery manager assistant (Maternity cover)

£19 000 per annum

7 weeks paid holiday

25 hours per week Monday to Friday (5 hours per day)

Les Petites Etoiles is a group of children's nurseries that provides exceptional childcare in a nurturing bilingual environment. We are passionate about our mission and deeply care about our local community, parents, and staff.

Role

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the administrative duties for our nursery in Tufnell Park.

Location

You will work in our nursery in Tufnell Park.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the nursery manager in organizing staff induction, DBS checks, activities, and new parent tours.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for parents and staff
  • Manage office operations and procedures, including employee records, invoices, and dealing with visitors.
  • Support in the classroom when needed

Requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Be comfortable working in a changing and occasionally noisy environment
  • Proficient in Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Teams
  • Good telephone manner
  • Independent thinker who is comfortable taking on small projects
  • Confident in learning new software to support specific tasks
