Job summary

Wellesley Park Primary School in Wellington is seeking an outstanding Nursery Manager to lead Explorers Nursery and grow our early years provision within the school.

The role is full time (37 hours per week, Mon-Fri 7:30am–6:00pm) with a Grade 11 salary (£32,597–£36,363) and generous development opportunities. Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent is essential.

Job description

Nursery Manager Full Time to start as soon as mutually agreed. Wellesley Park Primary School in Wellington is home to 270 children, including Wellesley Park Explorers. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding manger to Join Explorers Nursery as our Nursery Manager and play a key role in growing our provision within Wellesley Park Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the future of early years education in a modern, purpose-built environment designed to inspire outstanding learning and development. Nursery is open five days a week, all year round for children aged 9 months to 4 years. Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent is essential.

We are looking for:

• A dedicated, hardworking manager who is able to raise and sustain high standards

• A manager to be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the Nursery and overall delivery of a high-quality education from children aged 9 months to 5 years.

The post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm all year. The salary scale is Grade 11 on the School Support Staff Pay Scale £32,597 to £36,363 per annum (£16.90 to £18.85 per hour) dependant on experience.
