Wellesley Nursery in Hook, Hampshire is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team. The role is full time with hours 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday, for children aged 2 and up. We value kindness, curiosity and a nurturing approach to early years.

You will support daily routines, deliver play-based learning, and work with colleagues to safeguard and promote wellbeing. The position offers a welcoming environment and opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, rest periods and personal care
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Assist in creating an environment where every child feels a genuine sense of belonging
• Supervise and support children during outdoor learning opportunities, woodland adventures and wider nursery activities
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating and well-organised learning environment
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
