Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and have a genuine love for working with children. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while leading a team of childcare professionals.

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare and 3 years’ work experience with early years children within a management role. Supervisory experience is essential

Duties

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks.
Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and education.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.
Experience

Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare management is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
A valid driving licence would be advantageous for any off-site activities or meetings.
