Job description

KiddyKare are currently looking for an experienced Manager for a well-established setting based in the outskirts of Thatcham.

This role offers a generous salary, paired with a supportive team and fantastic benefits. The setting has a lovely outside environment as well as surrounded by fantastic areas for outings.

Hours per week: 40
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Duties include:

  1. To be responsible for and to oversee the day-to-day management, staffing, organisation, and smooth running of the nursery.
  2. To ensure the EYFS curriculum is promoted and delivered to an outstanding level within the setting.
  3. To assist staff development and training.
  4. To actively promote and support the overall safeguarding of the setting.
  5. To have a key role in the planning and monitoring of the nursery and implementing essential policies and procedures.
  6. To lead a team of professional workers, always ensuring outstanding practice.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience as a nursery manager
  2. Minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years
  3. Strong safeguarding and EYFS knowledge
  4. Previous OFSTED experience
  5. Passion!!
