Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education

  • Drive innovation across the curriculum, including extracurricular opportunities like forest school, cooking and music

  • Build meaningful relationships with families and the wider community

  • Oversee occupancy, budgets, and marketing activity, with support from senior leadership

  • Ensure full compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding, SEND and health & safety requirements

  • Champion inclusion, child development, and continuous improvement across the setting

What Were Looking For
  • Minimum of one years experience in an early years leadership role

  • A strong understanding of EYFS, early years legislation and best practice

  • Exceptional leadership, organisational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with nursery management systems (such as Family)

  • A creative and reflective approach to leadership

  • A full UK driving licence

  • A degree in Early Years is preferred, but Level 3 Childcare qualifications will be considered in line with GOV.UK guidelines
