About Us
Old Dairy Farm Nursery in Petersfield is an outdoor focused Nursery where children can grow and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. Our nursery is set on a working farm, in beautiful surroundings, nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park. We feel that it is a very special place, and we are excited to share it with you.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to children's learning, our educators act as mentors and guides, supporting the children to learn about the world around them through their own interests. We endeavour to provide our children freedom to enjoy the benefits of our rural setting, we encourage all ages to spend as much time as possible outside and on walks around the farm.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and inspirational Nursery Manager, who has experience in leading a team and a passion for outdoor learning and understanding of child-led education principles. You will be focused on Learning, Teaching & Development.
You will report to the Nursery Director and work closely alongside the Management team to ensure the highest standard of care and education for all children. You will have responsibility for coordinating the Pedagogy across the nursery, creating an inspiring and beautiful environment which serves as a third teacher in children's learning. Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach is preferable, although not essential.

Operational Responsibilities:
This is a full time role, Monday - Friday 7.15am - 6.30 / 51 weeks of the year. This is not an office-based role, you will be expected to work in rooms to support, develop and train our team, ensuring high quality practice is carried out at all times.
Salary up to GBP35,000
We are committed to Safeguarding our children and staff. We will not employ anyone without relevant references and background checks. You will be required to have a DBS check and provide 3 references.
