The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in early childhood education, enabling them to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role requires excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained while fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that encourage children\'s learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children\'s progress, concerns, and nursery activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery\'s reputation within the community.
• Ensure effective record-keeping related to children\'s development, attendance, and health & safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare management or early childhood education is essential.
