Job summary

Winner Education is seeking a confident Nursery Manager to lead a well-established nursery in Guildford. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of care, learning and safeguarding while guiding a dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 childcare qualification and previous Nursery Manager experience, with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills in the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification required or equivalent.
• Experience leading nursery staff and safeguarding.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of nursery practitioners and support staff.

Are you a confident and experienced Nursery Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a successful early years setting in Guildford?

Winner Education are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee a well-established nursery in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and early years education while supportingand developing a high-performing team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who can inspire staff, build positive relationships with families, and drive continuous improvement throughout the setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of nursery practitioners and support staff
• Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements
• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, maintaining a safe and engaging environment

Requirements:

• Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A proactive and commercially aware approach
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
• Passion for early years education and child development
