Qualifications

Job description

Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Manager.

As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Playing a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children’s learning.
  2. Effectively managing the day-to-day running of the nursery, delivering outstanding standards of care and education in partnership with colleagues, parents, and children.
  3. Being accountable for meeting all objectives and nursery targets with a focus on both commercial success and staff development, ensuring the nursery is efficient and profitable.
  4. Leading the nursery team with a positive and passionate outlook, handling conflict resolution, and fostering professional development and performance monitoring.
  5. Maintaining minimum operating standards while celebrating and embracing diversity.
  6. Inspiring, exciting, and challenging colleagues to deliver the best childcare and education.

The successful candidate will need:

  1. Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years.
  2. Minimum two years of early years’ experience.
  3. Early years management experience (preferable).
  4. ICT qualification or very good knowledge of Microsoft applications (preferable).
  5. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Early Education Inspection Framework.
